Adobe Homes are a four-piece screamo band from Albuquerque, New Mexico that formed in 2008. They play fast-paced, screamy jams with scorching vocals and some spastic guitar licks. This is the kind of band that can go from break-neck climaxes to long, quieter passages and then right back into the chaos with the blink of an eye. That's what makes them so good, there's always that anticipation of what's to come, it's never routine or expected. It's highly passionate, highly emotional, and sprawled all over the fucking place. Saintly Rows

Saintly Rows were a three-piece screamo/emo/post-rock band from Albuquerque, New Mexico that formed in 2012 and unfortunately broke up about a month ago. They're one of the many bands I've been meaning to do for a long time, but for some reason or another just never got around to it. They've continued to blow me away with each release they've put out in the past few years, so I cannot recommend you check them out enough. They combine the classic chaotic screamo of bands like Off Minor and Daïtro with more modern post-rock/emo hybrids such as Old Gray and Pianos Become The Teeth, and then throw in some Brand New for good melodic measure. Their lyrics are astounding, the vocals are passionate, and the instrumental side of things is incredibly tight as they weave through quiet/loud dynamics seamlessly. They share members with another great band called Drifter. Enjoy.

Drifter

Drifter are a three-piece screamo/post-hardcore band from Albuquerque, New Mexico. The band's sound is very dark, with even the more melodic post-rock influenced parts coming off as quite ominous. For the most part, the band keeps things on the lower, heavy, end, which is a nice contrast to the impassioned screams of the vocals and their desperate lyrics (which are very well-written and definitely worth taking a look at). These guys are a great band that have put out some amazing music so far, and I am certainly looking forward to what they put out next.

Sweet Weapons

Sweet Weapons are a great four-piece emo-influenced pop punk (with a miniscule hint of hardcore) band from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I also find the vocals to be somewhat reminiscent of Cedric Bixler-Lavala circa El Gran Orgo or of Garret Klahn from Texas Is The Reason. Actually, I'd say the entire band is probably heavily TITR-influenced. I find it hard to get tired of these guys, they simply ooze awesome. Warning: These guys may induce massive cravings for some Little Caesar's.
