I Kill Giants were a four-piece emo/indie/punk band from Boston, Massachusetts that were active from 2011 to 2018. It's admittedly criminal that this band hasn't been shared here yet, but it's a band still worth revisiting/discovering. Sonically, the band had an unbridled energy, with scrappy rhythm guitars, jazzy math rock licks, and vocals you can hear a crowd scream along to. The stellar musicianship whilst being a raw punk act is truly incredible, and unsurprising consider its members met at Berklee College of Music. Following a fairly prolific run between 2011 and 2014, post-grad they went their amicable separate ways, but reuniting for a final run of shows in 2018. Its members have since been active in Really From and Great Grandpa, both of which I recommended just as much as I Kill Giants. Great band, and their self-titled album is a fucking jam to revisit. Enjoy.
