Joliette

Joliette are a four-piece post-hardcore/mathcore band from Puebla, Mexico that formed in 2011. These guys have put out a crazy amount of material since they formed, and have earned their title as one of the hardest-hitting bands around today. They play a heavy, instrumentally intricate style of hardcore, with knee-jerk syncopation and an incredible use of dynamics. Influence from bands like The Dillinger Escape Plan is pretty evident here, along with small hints of screamo. As I said before, they've put out a slew of music, so fans of forward-thinking hardcore will have a field day to delve into here. Enjoy.

Arse Moreira

Arse Moreira were a four-piece emo violence/screamo band from Mexico City that were around from 2005 to 2008. In their time all they really released was splits, with some great bands of course (such as Kidcrash and an unreleased one with Loma Prieta). Finally in 2013 their discography was compiled together, and we now have this convenient collection of their 13 tracks. It's quite shameful that this band isn't on here sooner, since this is some of the most intense and progressive "skramz" ever. Arse Moreira are a phenomenal band, and fans of Louise Cyphre will definitely see the appeal here. Enjoy.

Declive

Band submission. Declive are a band from Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico that formed this year (2013). They've got elements of punk, melodic hardcore, emo, and alternative rock in their music, and could be compared to bands such as Title Fight, Basement, and Daylight. They've got great energy, and add the perfect amount of gruff edge to their melodic sound. Definitely get into this if you like the aforementioned bands, you won't be disappointed. I really enjoyed the entirety of this, and am looking forward to what else this band has to offer. Check out their EP for free on their Bandcamp. Enjoy.
