Unbroken strike me as being a band that are part of someone's life more than just entertaining background music. Their lyrics and modus operandi was definitely to inspire, and share in their own personal struggles in a way that their entire fanbase could relate to and find some kind of solidarity in. I'm not sure if any of this is making sense, but basically what I'm getting is that Unbroken are a band who have changed lives for the better, and continue to do so.
Since they first broke up in 1995, they've reunited several times between 2010 and 2014 to play shows and continue to spread their music. Unfortunately, they did have to play one other reunion show as early as 1998. It was a benefit for the family of guitarist, Eric Allen, who committed suicide that year. However, even with the unfortunate loss of an integral member, Unbroken continue to be a positive force in the hardcore community, and with compilation releases such as the ones below, their legacy will easily be saved for years to come. Enjoy.
