Cursive

Cursive are a four-piece indie rock/emo/post-hardcore band from Omaha, Nebraska that formed in 1995. They briefly broke up between 1998 and 1999, and have been active ever since. I figure a lot of people are already familiar with this band, mainly because of the constant requests they get, plus the simple fact that they're Cursive. They're a classic Saddle Creek band, and have been incredibly influential on indie/emo music as a whole. Both Domestica and The Ugly Organ are mandatory listening, which isn't even beginning to touch upon the entirety of their discography. There's just no band like them, whether it be the unique instrumentation, Tim Kasher's distinct voice, whatever it may be, Cursive are one of a kind. Enjoy.

  1. Please post Listener! You've mentioned them in a few posts but never posted their music. They've only got 4 albums, but if you could post the most recent three, I think a lot of people would enjoy it!

  6. The album The Difference Between Houses And Homes (2005) that you have uploaded is actually burst and bloom ep for the first 6 songs. I'm not sure what the other cursive songs are on there but they aren't the songs they are titled to be. FYI.
