Basement were a five-piece pop punk/melodic hardcore band from Ipswich, Suffolk, UK that formed in 2009 and
disbanded in in 2012. Throughout
their existence, they were often associated with bands such as Title Fight,
Balance And Composure, and Tigers Jaw as being both comparisons as well as
contemporaries to them. At the beginning of their tenure, the Lifetime
influence (and strong Title Fight resemblance) is most prominent. As they
progressed, their sound become a bit more expansive, drawing influence from
bands including Sunny Day Real Estate, Jets To Brazil, and even Soundgarden.
Yes, they were signed to Run For Cover as well. I guess I accidentally but now
intentionally have started a post trend where each band is on Run For Cover
and whose sound somewhat resembles each others, or something. I don't know, but
these guys are/were an awesome band, so check it out.

ReplyDeleteI’m really amazed with your posting skills as well as with the layout on your blog site. Is this a paid style or did you modify it yourself? Either way keep up the pleasant quality writing, it is rare to see a great site such as this one these days.I recently came to know about www.bofuform.com/, their Formworks For Basements are very effective.
