Suburban Scum

Suburban Scum are a band that should have been on here long ago, and have been requested endlessly, so voila. Suburban Scum are a four-piece hardcore band with some thrash tendencies. They hail from New Jersey, and have been around since 2010. They are often associated with the massive wave of modern hardcore bands (Backtrack, Soul Search, Expire, etc.) that throwback to old school hardcore, especially bands like Madball and Agnostic Front. Suburban Scum play with heavy, chugging guitars, and incredibly cathartic vocals, that are probably one of my favourite and the most defining aspects of this band. They've got a very visceral, end-of-the-line sound to them, and that translates on both their records and in their live show. Thanks to Jacob Shumaker for the help with this post. Enjoy.
