La Dispute

Bear with me here, I've never done this before. What better way to start this then with the best band ever?

La Dispute are a five-piece "post-hardcore" band from Grand Rapids, Michigan, formed in 2004 but have only really been active since 2006. Common influence citations include mewithoutYou, At The Drive-in, and Saetia, as well as contemporaries Pianos Become The Teeth, Touché Amoré, etc. One can rant on for hours about their music, but I think it speaks for itself. Besides, does this band really need an introduction?

Though if you are new to this band, check out "Somewhere At The Bottom Of The River Between Vega And Altair", "Searching For A Pulse/The Worth Of The World", and "Wildlife" first. Without further ado, I give you their discography (to date):

  15. Thank you so much! I have an interest in this band due to my friends and they kept pushing it on me saying, "They're the BEST". So now, I will.
I'll update when I finish the album.

  16. you're amazing. thnxs for posting all of this and the related bands. they're great too.

  17. If you do get the chance, would you be able to upload the Tiny Dots soundtrack that was released for Record Store Day? Couldn't find it anywhere in stock and it'd be much appreciated :)

  18. Hey, sorry if this is rude to ask, but if you can find an mp3 of the new Here Hear track (13) that came out on that flexi for their subscription series this year that would be really sick and I'd appreciate it so so much. I've read the lyrics a hundred times now and I would love to hear the actual track finally. Would mean a lot!

  19. Their subscription series just released another Conversations too, on a wooden-cased USB drive. Would love to see that here if possible!

  20. can we have the conversations 2

  21. Here's Conversations II:

  22. Thanks, BigEmpty.

Anybody know if the demos that are used on Coversations I are being available anywhere?
